Tickets must be validated on the validation machine on entering the vehicle. Validation is through holding your card near the validation machine. The card is validated when the machine shows a “green light”.
What is the purpose of validation?
When you validate your ticket, you are contributing to improving our service because it is through this information that we count the number of passengers on each route so that we can then calculate how many buses and trams are needed and how often.
